Happy Mom Monday! ‘Tis the season of Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) everything. Although I’m not a fan of PSL drinks, this Pumpkin Spice Latte Body Scrub is right up my alley. If you’re looking for a fun DIY beauty project to do with your tween or teen, this is perfect for you.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Body Scrub
2 cups brown sugar (or granulated sugar)
½ cup coffee grounds
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
2 tablespoons vitamin E oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1. Put sugar through a sifter to ensure that any clumps or hard bits are broken up.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sifted sugar with the coffee grounds, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well until everything is combined.
3. Pour in oils, one at a time, and continue mixing. Mix until all of the sugar and dry ingredients are slightly moistened. Add entire mixture to a dry, glass container that can be tightly sealed.
As long as the Pumpkin Spice Latte Body Scrub remains sealed it can be used for up to 4 months. If the scrub dries, simply add a tablespoon of either oil and stir well. Use body scrub a tablespoon at a time as needed.
